This will be the place where top grades in elementary college math courses are reared. If your calculus course at some big university is run like a sausage factory, if you are bewildered by the stretch the material is demanding your mind to make, if you have lost confidence that you will ever be able to understand this stuff, take heart. Although I have never been in your situation, I have rescued many from it, and I can rescue you as well.

This tutorial is intended to provide you with clear, concrete, down-to-earth explanations of the material commonly encountered in the most dreaded of introductory undergraduate courses: calculus. Besides that, it will provide you with worked examples, and even more helpful than that, it will provide you with coached exercises in which you will solve hard problems by answering a series of easy questions that I will pose to you (I am indebted to my high-school physics teacher, Art Hovey, for introducing me to this method of teaching -- it is very effective).

One on one email help will also be available as long as I am not overwhelmed by the volume of requests. But I will not DO your homework exercises for you. I will only give you tips. And please look in the online text for examples of the type of problem that is giving you difficulty before emailing me. You may find your answer there. Also before emailing me, please click here first for tips on math notation over email.

You will get all this in return for nothing but a click of your mouse.

I look forward to helping you.
